The GLN is used to identify any location (physical or legal) that needs to be uniquely identified. The GLN is a 13-digit number including a check digit.
The GLN is administered by GS1.
This OID is intended to be used as agency identifier in the UN/EDIFACT service and data segments, replacing the current codevalues maintained by the United Nations.
