this CAU. This MAC address is represented in non-canonical
form. This variable shall assume a value of X'00 00 00 00 00 00'
if no locally administered address has been specifed for the
PO MAC. Note that the CAU does not begin using a new
value of this variable until the next restart of the CAU."
