At its plenary meeting on 7 Sep 2012, ITU-T SG 17 noted that, according to an agreement co-signed by the administration representing Oman in ITU and the organization representing Oman in ISO, the Directorate General for Standards and Metrology (DGSM) is the registration authority for this OID. This decision was further noted by ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 6 at its plenary meeting on 21 Sep 2012.
